Renox Onyango holds a Diploma in Social Work, a Diploma in Project Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and Governance. In addition, he has completed a Training of Trainers (TOT) certification, is a qualified EMT-1, and is certified in Occupational First Aid, firefighting, and Peer Education with a focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Renox Onyango Ouma serves as the Corporate Affairs Manager at JFC Munene College of Health Sciences, where he spearheads key initiatives to bridge academic learning with real-world healthcare experience. With a solid educational foundation, including a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Governance, diplomas in Social Work and Project Management, and a range of certifications in occupational safety, EMT training, and peer education, Renox is committed to enhancing student experiences and institutional growth.
In his role, Renox leads stakeholder engagement efforts, establishing and nurturing partnerships with healthcare institutions, universities, financial organizations, and regulatory bodies to support student placements, training programs, and financial accessibility. His expertise in drafting and negotiating Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with hospitals and healthcare facilities ensures a comprehensive selection of training sites, supporting the practical needs of JFC Munene students.
Renox’s contributions extend to event management, where he organizes key college events such as Alumni Days, Cultural Week, and mentorship programs, fostering a strong sense of community and networking among students, alumni, and corporate stakeholders. He also oversees the college’s corporate training programs, including first aid and OSHA training, which enhance both student readiness and the college’s visibility in professional healthcare training.
Additionally, Renox plays a pivotal role in marketing and branding for the college, utilizing digital outreach and public relations strategies to bolster the institution’s reputation and appeal. He works closely with financial institutions to offer flexible fee payment solutions, reducing financial barriers for students and families.
His strategic foresight has led to the introduction of an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course, positioning JFC Munene College as a leader in emergency response training. Renox also oversees regulatory compliance, working with accrediting bodies like TVET to ensure the college’s programs meet the highest standards.
Renox’s personal passions in community development, health and safety training, and mentorship are evident in his professional approach, and he is dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages both student and faculty growth.
